We had Shawna’s family birthday party on Sunday Dec 7th and it was by far more fun than the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
We cleaned the house in the morning and started lunch of taco salad (I still need to post a recipe on allrecepies.com). Howard, Cindy, Shanon, Rhea, Dave, William, David, and Kira came over. We ate taco salad and then opened presents. Shawna got several gifts including a new Mongoose bike.
Everybody hung around except Trena’s folks because they were headed to Grand Junction to pickup Granny Hulvey. Dave and I watched the Broncos play poorly against KC until they left a the end of the first quarter. At that time I proceeded to go outside and hand Christmas lights. The weather was wonderful. It was about 45 degrees, sunny and calm. Perfect for hanging Christmas lights. Good thing I hung them then too because a storm moved in today that is dropping snow as we speak… type… whatever…
All in all, a pretty good day. Kira hung around until almost 7pm. We had BBQ wings for super!
